A collaboration for the ages, the Spitfire x Deathwish collection is ready to burn it down and take no prisoners. From two brands synonymous with skateboarding,…
There have been a lot of big name collabs happening throughout the start of 2014. They seem to be getting better and better by the week. These two are hard to compete with. Emerica has always had some of the best product, videos and team. Naturally their collabs are just as good. Introducing the Emerica Atiba Jefferson and Ed Templeton shoes.
The Atiba Jefferson and Ed Templeton shoes consists of the Emerica Memphis and Wino. The Memphis is that beautiful slip-on that we all love from back in the day. It’s here now in the form of an Ed Templeton shoe complete with artwork by none other then Ed himself. The other member of this collab fam is the commonly known Wino, Emerica’s laidback, everyday shoe. Who better to collaborate with than Atiba Jefferson? He’s the best behind the lens and the Wino Atiba shoe was great in front of it. Emerica brings you some of their top tier shoes while collaborating with some of the most influential guys in skateboarding. Read my full write-up and check out the pics below.
The Emerica Memphis is a classic. Not too commonly seen nowadays but quite the ordeal some time ago. I remember being at my local shop drooling over the Memphis when I was just a boy. Once the Memphis x Ed Templeton shoe was brought to my attention I was filled with joy and nostalgia. Ed Templeton has been a huge influence on what skateboarding is today. Ed’s artwork has always been pleasing and unique. Having his work on an entire shoe is something we can all enjoy. You can skate, chill, work, adventure, hell even put these in a glass case in your house. This new Ed Templeton shoe is awesome. Put them on your feet before it’s too late.
The Wino has always been a solid shoe in my opinion. They’re the perfect shoes to do pretty much anything in. Every company has their casual everyday kind of shoe and the Wino is on the mark. So how do you make an already great shoe even better? Add Atiba Jefferson to the mix. Not familiar with Atiba? Well you know all those beautiful covers of the Skateboard Mag or that classic Andrew Reynolds frontside flip photo on your wall? That’s Atiba. He’s one of the greatest photographers in the skateboard industry. Atiba plays a key role in skateboarding because it just wouldn’t look as good without him. This collab comes in a grey colorway but with a mesh allover fabric, bringing more comfort to your foot. These are some shoes that you shouldn’t pass up.
