When I caught wind that Dave Bachinsky started riding for Darkstar Skateboards, we knew that an interview had to be put into effect. Skate Warehouse currently has the Bachinsky Wildlife Deck in 8.0” x 31.6” in the shop and online. We caught up with Dave and he broke it all down for us.
The Unheard dudes took a short hiatus on their tour and stopped by the Warehouse. The van pulled up, dudes poured out, hung for a bit, checked out the Warehouse and did a little skateboarding before hitting the road. I got a chance to chat with the owner of The Portland Wheel Company Spencer Morgan, and asked him a few questions about what’s new. Read more for the interview and check out the new Portland Wheel drop at SW!
This unassuming, soft spoken English lad by the name of Ben Raemers is an absolute beast on the stuntwood. He recently turned pro for enjoi and if you’ve seen their new video, you’ll know why. The enjoi oververt DVD is officially available for sale starting today. So, it’s too soon for me to be blabbing out spoilers but I’ll just say that his part will blow your mind and make your palms sweaty. Ben is so gnarly! We had a chance to interview Ben a while back, well before oververt was released and before he had any idea they’d turn him pro. Watch the video for a brief glimpse into the mind of enjoi’s good geezer or read the interview below for the full monty!
From Underworld Element’s Lil’ Stevie all the way to Asphalt Yacht Club‘s head honcho, the original Dirty Ghetto Kid has been stacking street cred for over two decades. We recently had the chance to take your questions directly from Instagram and put them to the man himself. Check out the Stevie Williams Interview and watch for your ‘gram handle! If you see your question give us a shout out in the comments.
Our illustrious Captain and fearless Leader, Dave Stubbs, was recently featured in a quick and witty interview on TransWorld Business. The Skate Warehouse interview is part of TransWorld’s “30 Shops in 30 Days” program presented by Bustin’ Boards. Check out the feature below if you haven’t already caught the original article online. It’s short, smart and snappy, just like Dave.
We took a trip down to Skate One Distribution last week. Skate One is home to BONES Wheels, Powell-Peralta, Bones Bearings, Mini Logo and several other great skate brands. George Powell himself gave us a personally guided tour through the entire facility. We covered the deck manufacturing process in Part 1, so be sure to check that out before reading on.
