This Saturday, February 8th, Skate Warehouse will be releasing the Nike SB x Diamond Dunks. We will open our retail doors for our local customers between 8am and 9am PST for the launch. The remaining inventory will be available online at Skate Warehouse at approximately 9am. Inventory is limited and will not be restocked. Customers are limited to one pair. Any order with more than one pair will be canceled without notice.
This highly anticipated Dunk High is a remake of what many believe was one of the most significant sneaker releases in history. The original Diamond Dunks dropped in 2005 with only about 4,000 pairs in circulation. Few other Nike SB releases have received as much hype.
Representative of a past era of sneaker culture, the Tiffany Dunks evoke desire in some, amazement in others, and admiration in all.
Fast forward 9 years. What once were a desirable pair of dunk lows can now be copped in dunk high form. The Diamond Dunk Highs stay true to the original black/turquoise/silver aesthetic. They feature the all important Diamond blue tone. A chromed out Swoosh appears on the side. The classic faux croc print panels glint in the sun while a Diamond logo on the tongue tells their story. The official style name is Nike SB Dunk High “Diamond” 653599-400.
Rumors of the Nike SB x Diamond remarriage popped up in mid-2013. The collab was only officially confirmed by Diamond’s headman Nicky Diamond in January 2014. Theoretically, since Nike SB isn’t as exclusive with its distribution as it used to be, this pair should be easier to get your hands on. However, we’re guessing these diamonds will be swiftly heisted and become hard to find. Good luck!
