As part of our recent road trip to NHS Distribution we got a full walkthrough of the NHS Skate Museum and were guided by none other than CEO/President and former pro skateboarder, Bob Denike. There is so much history and so many artifacts on the walls of the NHS Skate Museum that even with all the informative captions and old school footage, you’re going to want a guide through this place—and Bob is the best! The Deathwish Squad recently took a trip from their West Coast roots on over to the East for some signings, demos, ripping and good times. With such a heavy team you know these guys got out and killed shit, regardless of the East Coast grit. If you haven’t seen anything from Erick Valdez yet watch out, big things to come from that dude in the future. Not to mention all the other legendary rippers in the crew. Kirby, Neen, Slash, Dickson and Ellington all held it down with more than their fair share of bangers for the “Let It Be Known” Tour.
To promote the new Globe Abyss, Haslam dropped a full length pro spotlight part, and it’s magic. Haslam has tricks that only a sorcerer could fathom. You will need to watch this video multiple times to completely grasp the level of difficulty involved in every trick he does. Thank you Chris Haslam, can’t wait to see what you have in store for us this year and to get those shoes on the shelves.
Your boy David Gravette just dropped a new part to go along with the release of his new shoe from C1RCA, the Goliath. This is his first part since recovering from a shoulder surgery and “David & Goliath” doesn’t disappoint. You get what you’ve come to expect from a Gravette part: pure skate rat gnarly-ness, great song selection and awesome trick selection. Dude does it all, huge flat gaps, crazy transition, gnarly 50-50’s and a kinked rail in the rain. You know the Goliath’s are a solid shoe if they can withstand the abuse David puts them through.
