Spring has not sprung but the goods are already springing up here at Skate Warehouse. Few vendors get us more excited than seeing a semi-truck full of Baker Boys pallets show up in the back. Piles and piles of Baker, Shake Junt, Deathwish, Death Lens, Vol 4, Heroin, Brigada, Palace and Hammers brand goods. That’s a lot of cool shit!
Shoes come and go everyday at the warehouse, new colorways, new models, in and out, they all start to blend together after awhile. When the Vans Syndicate Jason Dill Authethics arrived, I stopped in my tracks. Being a huge Dill fan made these an essential.
Nyjah Huston’s new pro model with DC Shoes is more than just another pro model. It looks like DC consulted Stark Industries on this one and they’re releasing their most technically advanced footwear to date. While it’s now true that we can count DC among the brands pushing $100+ shoes, these kicks will earn their higher price tag and prove to be a game changer. Impact protection, durability, breathability, traction, board feel—every feature in the DC N2 is derived from top-shelf DC tech. If that weren’t enough already, the N2 officially introduces a new outsole material to the world: Super Rubber.
Cyril Jackson is officially the newest member of the Bakerboys family. It’s been along time coming. With two new pro model boards, Cyril will be continuing the tradition of past Bakerboys—dropping hammers with wreck-less abandon. This dudes got skills and is a true skate rat, skating everything and anything. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you Cyril. Congrats, keep it up!!!
Drop an anchor when they’re not on your feet, ‘cuz the Emerica Reynolds Cruiser LT shoes are light enough to float away. The creator and owner of Baker Skateboards, Andrew Reynolds, brings you a thinner, narrower, lighter version of the Reynolds Cruiser. Lets break ‘em down.
Skate Warehouse took a trip to Santa Cruz, California to spend a day at the NHS Fun Factory, home to brands like Independent Trucks, Creature, Santa Cruz, Ricta, OJ Wheels and many more. We got a full tour of the warehouse and NHS skate museum, we watched mad skate scientists in the R&D lab, we saw tons of vintage product from years past and we even got a sit down interview with Jason Jesse and Emmanuel Guzman. It was a really good day.
