I Hate the Art of Todd Bratrud

From sock puppets to Creature, from Consolidated to “Send Help”, Todd Bratrud does what he does like a bad ass. The newest book to hit the pages of Skate Warehouse is the super awesome I Hate the Art of Todd Bratrud where Bratrud’s work is laid out in a quick and painless publication.

Today he is the owner of High Five Skateboards, but Bratrud started out as the art director for Consolidated Skateboards back in 1999. Since then and throughout the years the guy has done graphics, stickers, ads, and apparel for practically everybody worth mentioning in the Skateboard biz, from Consolidated to Flip, Birdhouse, Enjoi, Black Label, Creature, Real, Nike SB, and Volcom, Bratrud has had a part. He is also an illustrator and blogger for The Skateboard Mag. I Hate the Art of Todd Bratrud is published by Mark Batty Publishers and is available now at Skate Warehouse. Click the pictures below or head over and get your copy HERE.

Artist Profile: Andrew Pommier

A new Andrew Pommier video from SBC Skateboard Magazine has us pretty stoked over at Skate Warehouse. In it Pommier talks about sketch books, skateboarding, his new deck series with Kitsch and more.  Have a look and then check out some Pommier and RVCA T-Shirts at Skate Warehouse.

SBC wrote, “14 years ago, a then brand new mag called SBC Skateboard started using the quirky illustrations of one of their staff photographer’s brothers. Now not only are Andrew Pommier’s drawings still a staple in the mag, you can also see his work gracing beer cans, shoes, pro model boards and countless other places.”
