Jo from Arkansas is ready to rip. Jo picked out a fresh new complete that I hope stokes him out as much as it stoked us out. Featuring a Baker board, Ventures, Rictas, Bones and topped off with Mob x Thrasher grip and Skate Warehouse bolts, this board is as crispy as they come. Also boasting a classic aesthetic with an emphasis on function, there’s no suspicions about the rad factor of this complete. Build your next Crispy New New HERE!
This week’s Crispy New New comes via Cristy from Pennsylvania and it’s about as fresh as it gets. We all know Sheckler keeps it crispy and this complete follows in those footsteps. Featuring a Plan B Ryan Sheckler Deck, Silver Trucks, Spitfire Wheels, Bones Bearings and hardware, risers and grip from Shorty’s, this board is set up proper and ready to shred. We took a trip down to Skate One Distribution last week. Skate One is home to BONES Wheels, Powell-Peralta, Bones Bearings, Mini Logo and several other great skate brands. George Powell himself gave us a personally guided tour through the entire facility. We covered the deck manufacturing process in Part 1, so be sure to check that out before reading on.
Skate One Distribution is home to BONES Wheels, Powell-Peralta, Bones Bearings, Mini Logo and several other great skate brands. They’ve been responsible for the best bearings and highest performance urethane in skateboarding for decades running and we were excited to get an inside look at the facility. When we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by our Skate One rep, Jamie Gathard, and our tour guide… George Powell himself!
If you haven’t checked out DGK‘s Blood Money over at Thrasher… you’re fuckin’ up. One of the best releases of 2014 featuring new DGK pro’s Marquise Henry and Boo Johnson. In honor of the video and their recent recruitment into the pro-ranks, Boo and Quise each got signature “Blood Money” models. Samuel from Colorado did his up proper with the Johnson deck, Thunder Trucks, Bones Wheels and Bearings, gripped up with that yung Grizzly Grip and held together with some hater-proof bolts from Shake Junt. Welcome to Crispy New New!
