This year marks two decades of the big red chunk and the Chocolate Skateboards crew has been celebrating in a myriad ways. Their latest commemoration is a collaborative coupling of Poler Stuff with the Chocolate Skateboards aesthetic, made custom for Kenny Anderson. The two primo pieces in this limited edition Poler x Chocolate Kenny Anderson Collection are guaranteed to travel well together. If it’s good enough for The Perfect Man, it’s good enough for anybody!
The Cliché Gypsy Life Series is a fresh new collection ready for your shredding pleasure. With graphics done by the one and only Luda Crooks, aka Chet Childress—these boards are as much works of art as they are some of the meanest shred sleds out. The Gypsy Life series features Dwindle’s Impact Support Technology, which means 8-ply hard rock maple construction with two carbon fiber discs at the truck mounts for a more durable deck and longer lasting pop. Check out the Gypsy Life Series over at Skate Warehouse and take a peep at our most recent Series Spotlights!
Our Series Spotlight this week is the latest set from Girl Skateboards. The Girl Lettus Bee Decks are illustrated by the one-and-only Andy Jenkins a.k.a. “Mel Bend”. Lettus Bee is a character from a skate comic entitled “Wrench Pilot” published in TransWorld Skateboarding from 1989 to 1991. Classic and clean, these decks make for great collector’s items. With the great shapes and wood from Crailtap these boards will fill all of your shredding needs as well. Jim Greco has been dropping hammers for almost 20 years. From Birdhouse to Zero to Baker to Deathwish, Greco has managed to one-up himself in every part he’s put out, time and time again. Now in the year of the pro-turned-entrepreneur, he’s rising to a new challenge with his own company startup. Greco is dropping a new skate brand on the firing pin and you’re damn right it’s called Hammers.
enjoi has done it once again, this time with the gut-bustin’ Art Classics series. For this inspired collection enjoi took pieces of fine art and imposed pictures of their riders face on them. Genius, and hilarious. Ever wondered what Louie Barletta would look like as the Mona Lisa? Well, now you know. Pick up your new enjoi art classic from the Series Spotlight page and be sure to check out the trailer for enjoi’s new video Oververt!
If you missed the freak show at your local county fair don’t worry, Deathwish has you covered. From Strongman Jon Dickson to The Horrific Lizard King, these boards each have a personal touch from their respective pros. Brian Hansen may as well be dog-faced and it’s well known Ellington is a human oddity. With a heavy dose of humor and one of the sickest teams out, this series is an ace in the hole. And as always, Deathwish provides top notch wood and shapes in sizes to suit any skater. Pick em’ up HERE.
