In this cruel world, there are some questions that should not be answered. Who shot JFK? Was 9/11 an inside job? Where is Waldo? Will the Real Slim Shady please stand up? I do not have any of the answers to any of these questions but one question that’s been on everyone’s mind is, what is The Waffle House? That my friends, I have the answer too.
Sure, a few weeks out of the year we perform at hyper-dimensional speeds in a magical workshop owned by a bearded superhero with the ability to command flying caribou and shapeshift his way into millions of houses in a single night without being charged for breaking and entering. I’ll admit that’s a bit unusual—but lots of people have special talents. Elves are no different, we’re just like you. Elves are people too!
Wreck Wheels just hit Skate Warehouse! We put their exclusive Ruin Formula through our own tests by throwing them under the heavy pressure of the SW Crew. Johnny, Cole, Zach, Griff, Adam and Nate all took to the terra firma on fresh sets of Wreck and returned home with some solid feedback on the new cuts. Check it!
For the month of August, our good friends over at Tigerlily Salon offered to host Skate Warehouse as their featured artist for Art After Dark. Not too many people know of the talents of our employees outside of skateboarding, and this was a great opportunity to showcase them. Check out the pics. Big thanks to everyone involved!
6am. Let’s face it, no one wants to be awake at 6am. But when it’s time to hop in the van for a day of skating in L.A. with the Matix crew, the SW boys are up and rearing for an adventure no matter what the time. With Mike behind the wheel, Jade, Steve, Dylan and myself behind the lens, plus Johnny, Nate, Adam and Matt ready to shred, we hit the road ready for a solid day of skating with a solid crew. After an 8:30am pit stop for some coffee, a quick stretch and an 18 pack of brews, it was on.
