When you think of skateboarding a few brands immediately come to mind. For most of you that company is Vans. Vans truly has played a huge part in what skateboarding is today. They’ve been dedicated to skateboarding since day one and after almost 40 years they released their first ever full length skate video, Vans Propeller.

Jim Muir, the founder of Dogtown Skateboards, was a Z-Boy during those formative years when the Zephyr team’s aggressive approach and timeless style pushed skateboarding to the next level. As skateboarding evolved into the 80’s, Jim’s brother Mike went on to form the legendary thrash and skate punk band Suicidal Tendencies in 1981. These two brothers have been crossing creative paths ever since. Dogtown and Suicidal Tendencies go hand in hand and this latest Dogtown x RxCx LTD Decks series is yet another killer example.
It’s no secret that old school and fun shaped boards are in right now. Some do it right, others blow it. This sick setup is a nice example of someone doing it right.
