Baker and Deathwish came to visit us at Skate Warehouse. They held a signing for the fans, hung out and headed to the park for some shredding. The Baker Deathwish demo was heavy, nothing in that park was left untouched. I can’t even explain how hard those dudes killed it. Who am I kidding? Quit reading this and check the edit out for yourself! Enjoy.
It’s about that time for the Skate Warehouse Happy Hour! The dudes over at Happy Hour decided to make a pit stop in our lovely town of San Luis Obispo and give us a visit.
At long last, our beautiful home town of San Luis Obispo has opened up a new skatepark! Though we loved the old SLO skatepark, it was in serious need of replacement. After years of fundraising, public forums and city council meetings, the park is finally complete and open for business. What better way to celebrate such a momentous feat than with a huge grand opening?
The Deathwish Squad recently took a trip from their West Coast roots on over to the East for some signings, demos, ripping and good times. With such a heavy team you know these guys got out and killed shit, regardless of the East Coast grit. If you haven’t seen anything from Erick Valdez yet watch out, big things to come from that dude in the future. Not to mention all the other legendary rippers in the crew. Kirby, Neen, Slash, Dickson and Ellington all held it down with more than their fair share of bangers for the “Let It Be Known” Tour.
If you missed the freak show at your local county fair don’t worry, Deathwish has you covered. From Strongman Jon Dickson to The Horrific Lizard King, these boards each have a personal touch from their respective pros. Brian Hansen may as well be dog-faced and it’s well known Ellington is a human oddity. With a heavy dose of humor and one of the sickest teams out, this series is an ace in the hole. And as always, Deathwish provides top notch wood and shapes in sizes to suit any skater. Pick em’ up HERE.
