Vans Syndicate Presents: “TWENTY”

Vans Syndicate is putting on a photo show highlighting and celebrating twenty years of their killer Half Cab shoe. The show, titled Twenty, will feature photographs from some of skateboardings best photographers, all snapping photos of the best skateboarders wearing the shoe. Photographers include work from many, including Skatedaily’s  Bryce Kanights, the well known and much respected skateboard photographer. Lance Dawes will be curating the show, fuck yeah.

The show will be held at the New Image Art in Los Angeles on Saturday April 14th from 6pm to 9pm.

Miika Saksi

New to the Skate Warehouse lineup is a wallet from Analog featuring the artist photography of Miika Saksi. Saksi is a freelance creative director, illustrator, photographer, and director. In the past he’s worked with countless magazines, such as Veli, Trendi, Lowdown, Nylon, We Are Helsinki, Trendi, Basso, and Image. With print work for Adidas Originals, designs for CLTR Clothing, album cover art, and his own personal photography collections, Saksi is and has been doing his rad thing within the industry, with work worthy of looking into. RVCA ANP Features Artist Keegan Gibbs

A surfer and traveler, a graduate of film school and photographer, Keegan Gibbs comes from a family of artists. He’s been skateboarding for a long time, too. Out of Southern California, he came, and now uses the same area and aesthetic for much of his creative work. His work branches out though, encompassing many different themes and lifestyles. Keegan in his own words:

“I am an aquanaut on a thruster in this ever amazing and boundless source of liquid energy. For me every choice and relationship, all decisions and waking thoughts (and most dreams) are influenced by the pull of the tides, the whiff of an offshore breeze, and the lucid corduroy lines gracefully stampeding towards the coast.”

He’s made a few rad videos that you can see below.
