The man, the myth, the legend, PJ Ladd and Jessup Griptape just released a small edit filmed at the Lincoln Skatepark. After a PJ-less Plan B True Video, it seems his footage is as elusive as the rarely spotted snow leopard. Granted it’s not the gnarly clips you may expect from him, but relax, it’s still rad to see him skating and having fun. All black and white, super 8 film, only one day and PJ make for a pretty raw and fun video.
This week’s Crispiest New Newiest complete skateboard goes to Keith from Canada for his fine featured selections. Keith’s starts with a Plan B Ladd Step and Repeat Deck, laced up with Krux K4’s, Bones DTF Wheels, Beerings Bearings, Modus Hardware, Dooks Risers and black Bullet Griptape. It all comes together for a great skate. You’re makin’ good choices up there, Keith!
The second New Balance Numeric video, The Second Narrows premiered on Thrasher and we’ve got it here at the Go Skate Blog. The Second Narrows features Junk Drawer, John Rattray, Arto Saari, Tyler Surrey, Marquise Henry, Levi Brown, Jordan Trahan, Tom Karangelov, Jordan Taylor, PJ Ladd, amazing edits, new spots and much more.
New Balance Numeric is doing things right. If you have any reservations about another-big-corporation-in-skateboarding, cast them aside my friends. They may be new to the skate scene but New Balance has been making footwear since 1906. Numerics are well-designed, durable, comfy and authentically skateboarding.
If their debut video “A Place In The Sun” is any indicator, NB# will be pushing the envelope for years to come. They have a strong future in skateboarding and we’re excited to watch the numbers grow.
