Real Skateboards dropped Part 1 of a new video from the Make-A-Wish Jam in Texas, where Justin Brock, Peter Ramondetta, Ishod Wair, Davis Torgerson, Kyle Walker, and Alex Midler visit the Texas Children’s Hospital for the JohnnyKicksCancer donation ceremony.
From sock puppets to Creature, from Consolidated to “Send Help”, Todd Bratrud does what he does like a bad ass. The newest book to hit the pages of Skate Warehouse is the super awesome I Hate the Art of Todd Bratrud where Bratrud’s work is laid out in a quick and painless publication.
Today he is the owner of High Five Skateboards, but Bratrud started out as the art director for Consolidated Skateboards back in 1999. Since then and throughout the years the guy has done graphics, stickers, ads, and apparel for practically everybody worth mentioning in the Skateboard biz, from Consolidated to Flip, Birdhouse, Enjoi, Black Label, Creature, Real, Nike SB, and Volcom, Bratrud has had a part. He is also an illustrator and blogger for The Skateboard Mag. I Hate the Art of Todd Bratrud is published by Mark Batty Publishers and is available now at Skate Warehouse. New decks from Real have hit the scene. Not just one time, but twice. The first hit and the second hit blow up with the likes of Pop Slickles, Pac Man, cops and kittens, foam fingers, LTD decks, 4Q posters, and a sneak peak video as can be viewed below featuring ATL artist Greg Mike’s new Real Skateboards mini series and original piece for the Johnny Kicks Cancer Foundation.
