At ease, soldier! The Vans Syndicate team just released two new skate shoe collabs with DEFCON. Each style of DEFCON shoes are a non-classified/non-ITAR, visually similar version of the AOR camo patterns adopted by US Naval Special Warfare. There’s a Sk8-Hi Notchback and an Old Skool in the set. These “digital camo” colorways are only available at finer skate shops – elite members of the Vans Syndicate network.
The Vans Syndicate line offers limited edition products available mainly through skate shops and specialty boutiques. DEFCON has been a frequent collaborator with Vans Syndicate. Beginning their camouflage DEFCON shoes in the mid 2000’s, they were the first in footwear to work with Crye Precision using MultiCam colorways. MultiCam is a seven-color, multi-environment camouflage pattern developed by Crye Precision in conjunction with U.S. Army Natick labs.
