The Nike SB Challenge Court

The Nike SB Challenge Court Shoes in Swan/Green/Black are a legendary kick, featuring a retro inspired design based on the footwear of the great John McEnroe. Nike blends an ’80s style with the style of Gino Iannucci. It’s not Iannucci’s signature shoe from Nike, but he does present it in a classic and much anticipated video.

The Challenge Court is a mid top design with Nike detailing throughout. It sports a suede, leather, and synthetic upper with stitching at ollie area and toecap, and a thin tongue and collar. The Lunarlon foam drop in sockliner has been used for years in Nike running shoes and now joins the world of skateboarding. The Lunar foam sockliner makes for a skate shoe that is lightweight with a soft but super responsive cushion bed, protecting your feet from multiple impacts but not dampening the connectivity between your feet and the board.

We threw up some photos Nike SB added to their blog post about the Challenge below, as well as the video for the shoe .

Look through the photos below, watch the video, and head over to see the Nike SB Challenge Court at Skate Warehouse. Go Skate!

Shoe Features:

  • Suede, leather, and synthetic upper
  • Cupsole construction
  • Midtop silhouette
  • Thin tongue and collar
  • John McEnroe inspiratopn
  • A Gino Iannucci backed shoe
