Chima Ferguson

Chima Ferguson, born February 14, 1989, in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia, is a pro skater renowned for his technical prowess, effortless style, and throwing himself down some pretty huge stuff. Chima was introduced to skateboarding by his older brother and his friends, igniting a lifelong passion. Despite the challenges of his surroundings, he hoaned his skills at local spots like Waterloo Skatepark, quickly gaining recognition in Sydney's vibrant skate scene. His dedication led to early sponsorships, and by his late teens, he was competing in local competitions and cartching the eye of major brands. At 16 he got on flow for Real Skateboards, who in 2010 turned him pro and where he continues to be a core part of the team. Chima also joined Vans in 2005 where he would go on to help design the best selling "Chima Pro" shoe that was in production for over seven years. Chima has also skated for other companies such as Volcom, Thunder, Spitfire, and Diamond Supply Co. He got the March 2010 Thrasher Magazine cover and has appeared in iconic videos like Real's "Since Day One," Volcom's "True To This," and Vans "Propeller," along with countless others, and Chima continues to be a legit force in skateboarding.
